The Raymond Alf Museum of Paleontology is unique in that it's on the campus of the Webb Schools, where high school students work side by side with professional paleontologists to learn the trade. Paleontologist Lucy Herrero, who works at the Alf, was one of those students. She tells us all about her experience as a student and how it led to a career in paleontology.
