There are a ton of poser watches out there. Trying to be “tactical-cool”, look rugged and beefy, look like they live up to the toughness of our everyday gear, but then you get it in your hand and the case feels hollow because it’s to lightweight, the case size is made for a girl, and the lume sucks.
But they’ll have a cool name on it and a cool story behind it.
Well, Winfield Watch Company has entered the chat. A veteran-owned brand where the owner, Mark Miller wanted to make watches like the handmade customs he used to make for friends. Watches made for adventure. Flying, hiking, diving, camping, hiking, hunting, everything. He cut his teeth on building custom Seiko mods and evolved to a full scale manufacturer to chase his entrepreneurial dream. Winfield watches have made their way up to Everest and been on the wrists of tactical shooting instructors who fell in love with the rugged good looks and matching rugged quality.
