There are still places where the countryside hasn’t forgotten how to be quiet.
Where the water lies still, the rods wait patiently, and the day unfolds at its own pace.
Fendicks Fishery and Campsites is one of those places. A spot to pull in, put the kettle on, and spend a few unhurried hours by the water. There’s fishing to be done, of course, but just as important is the time between — watching the light change, listening to the birds, and letting the world carry on without you for a while.
This isn’t about chasing anything. It’s about being there.
About camping, fishing, and taking a moment to remember that the countryside doesn’t ask for much — only that you slow down enough to notice it.
So for a little while at least, we’re Out Of Town.
So we get into the mechanics of the Crank up… and let the day take care of itself.
