Oh no! You’ve been caught in the tarantula’s web! Er…Webb’s Tarantula?
For Halloween, thrill and chill out while soaring around Webb’s view of 30 Doradus, also known as the Tarantula Nebula. Rendered here in seasonally appropriate oranges and blacks, the Tarantula Nebula is the largest and brightest region of star formation in the Local Group of galaxies.

Flying around Webb’s image of the Tarantula Nebula.
0:00 The image rotates around one large yellow star with eight long thin points, in a black central area surrounded by fluffy tan-colored nebula clouds, with rust-colored highlights.
0:06 The video begins to zoom out from the central bright star, revealing more fluffy tan-colored nebula clouds, with rust-colored highlights.
0:16 The video begins to pan to the right, toward a bright star cluster in an oval shape. The stars within the cluster look like tiny pale blue sparkles. The cluster is more densely packed at its core and scatters outward.
0:25 The video begins to pan upwards and zoom in on a black view of the sky, with blue and yellow eight-pointed stars, as well as distant galaxies, are dotted throughout the image.
0:35 The video fades to black.
