The Smith family's vacation to the remote Swedish island of Svalta, a place with a history of cannibalism and a mysterious festival celebrating it, takes a dark turn. Despite the unfriendly locals and strange rituals, the family tries to enjoy the island's isolation and natural beauty. However, as the festival approaches, they realize they are trapped and constantly watched. The Smiths begin to suspect that the islanders' historical drama may be far more sinister than they initially thought, and something far more ominous is unfolding.
The film is written by and stars Nick Frost, who shared the screen with Simon Pegg in such films as Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz and The World's End. GET AWAY is directed by Steffen Haars.
