Gibt es ein ›östliches‹ Narrativ? Warum wird der politische wie künstlerische Diskurs bis heute oft vom Westen dominiert? Wie lässt sich Geschichte vielstimmig erzählen, damit ein gleichberechtigtes östliches Narrativ aufscheinen kann? Das transkulturelle Literaturprojekt »Black Sea Stories« bringt Autor:innen aus Armenien, Bulgarien, Georgien, Rumänien und der Ukraine zusammen, um in Zeiten von Krieg und Hass den Dialog über die Bedeutung des Schwarzmeerraums offen zu halten. Es diskutieren fünf der am Projekt beteiligten Autor:innen, darunter die Kuratorin Nino Haratischwili und Lisa Weeda.
Black Sea Stories ist ein Projekt des Goethe-Zentrums Eriwan und der Goethe-Institute Bulgarien, Georgien, Rumänien und Ukraine in Zusammenarbeit mit der Kuratorin Nino Haratischwili. Unterstützt wird das Projekt von Literature Initiative Georgia; ARI Literary and Talent Agency/Armenien; Literarisches Colloqium Berlin e. V. und dem internationalen literaturfestival Berlin.
Am 13.09.2023 findet im Literarischen Colloquium Berlin der zweite Teil dieser Veranstaltung mit anderen an dem Projekt beteiligten Autor:innen statt.

Is there an ›Eastern‹ narrative? Why is political and artistic discourse often dominated by the West? How can history be told in many voices so that an equal Eastern narrative can emerge? The transcultural literary project »Black Sea Stories« brings together authors from Armenia, Bulgaria, Georgia, Romania, and Ukraine in order to keep the dialogue about the meaning of the Black Sea region open in times of war and hatred. Five of the authors involved in the project, including curator Nino Haratischwili and Lisa Weeda, will discuss the project.
Black Sea Stories is a project of the Goethe-Zentrum Yerevan and the Goethe-Instituts Bulgaria, Georgia, Romania, and Ukraine in collaboration with curator Nino Haratischwili. The project is supported by Literature Initiative Georgia; ARI Literary and Talent Agency/ Armenia; Literarisches Colloqium Berlin e. V., and the international literature festival Berlin.
On September 13, 2023, the second part of this event will take place at the Literary Colloquium Berlin with other authors involved in the project.
