Prior to World War Two German Military planners where trying to find a way for Infantry to keep up with and support tanks. The solution was to create a special soldier known as the Panzergrenadier. These soldiers would be provided with the latest and greatest equipment to allow them to support the armoured vehicles into battle. This included the Sd.Kfz 251 Troop Carrier or half track, which helped the Panzergrenadier Division to keep up with the tanks. In this video we look at the Panzergrenadier and their impact on World War Two.
