Any regular viewer of this channel can't have failed to see the 1/700 #WW2 Naval Project. Although the Internet can be a great free source of information there is a lot of photos that are incorrectly labelled or picture of modellers work which after posting becomes an accepted camo scheme when it was often from the imagination of the builder.
Books, for me are still part of my armoury and before I do a ship, I blow the dust of old books, look at others models and contemporary photographs (which is specifically important for Napoleonic Ships 😎) before I make a final scheme choice.
I also try and use "correct" colours as produced by commercial companies today, not out of some obsessive drive of accuracy but because when the "that's the wrong colour" Brigade come knocking I can direct them to the manufacturer 😆 And don't get me started on "Real" colour vs Scale Colour, that's part of my day job and it can stay there !
So this book to me is classed as essential, a great reference for the topic and if you are embarking into a journey of Naval Wargaming or Modelling and considering German Ships this book is a must.

Personally I prefer a hard copy book when I'm using it for reference and the book can be found on many second hand book sites and military specialists, being local I get a lot of my stuff from,
