While shooting promotional shots of this Way Studio kit, Kurt Dahle was kind enough to play for a few clips. The kit sizes are all Bonham - 10 x 14, 16 x 16, 16 x 18 and 14 x 26. The snare drum is a 6.5 x 14 Brass Hollywood. The cymbals are old school Paiste Black Label 2oo2s. The mics are just for show - the sound was recorded directly to the camera. The fact is...as good as the kit sounds, it sounded even better just standing in the room. There is no damping in the bass drum nor on any of the toms. This kit is on its way to Shane at Drum Center Portsmouth and I imagine you'll get to see and hear it at the upcoming Connecticut Drum Show.
