18 Original 1924-'26 Recordings is one of many compilations featuring American bandleader and drummer George Olsen. This released in the Netherlands for some reason, but I didn't even have to import it. The first side of this record is for acoustic recordings, and the second side for electric. Front cover photo taken 1923, Portland, OR. Back photo taken 1924, New York, NY. The fact they managed to fit 9 songs on either side is a miracle in itself. Good value. Note track 2 "A New Kind Of Man" is identical to "A New Kind Of Girl With A New Kind Of Love For Me" from the 1968 RCA reissue "George Olsen & His Music". Audio sourced from 78RPM collections, given they did not have access to the quality masters RCA did in 1968. Sounds tinny to my ears.

All recordings are public domain. These are the original masters for the songs, so the copyright is for the 1924-1926 recordings, all of which were expired by 2021. All copyright claims on this video are fraudulent and should be ignored.
