Hello all. The method I used in this video is an exploit I have known about for a while now but never mentioned because I didn't want people to abuse it. I have also NEVER used to get a high score.
This mechanic is possible for any mode where you can use bombs and is in GW3 (on all platforms including iOS). After I told ProfessorBurnt about this exploit he did some looking around and has come to the conclusion that this was an intentional aspect of the game because it is in GW3, which was redesigned with it still in it. Because it might be more unlikely for them to make the same mistake twice than it is for them to allow this mechanic, the question I am raising is "is this cheating?"

EDIT: The geometry wars 2 game-designer and programmer, Stephen Cakebread, has confirmed this as an unintentional feature of the game which confirms it as being a glitch.
