In this video lecture I discuss the geometric interpretation of complex numbers.

Complex number can be plotted on a plane called the Argand diagram, where the horizontal axis represents the real part of a complex number and the vertical axis represents the imaginary part. Each complex number is a point on this plane. This mean that we can express the modulus (or length) of a complex number as the distance between the origin of the plane, and also the angle between the positive real axis and the position vector (between the origin and the complex number).
