I’m working on the Europe / Italy flooding video next (which everyone should find extremely enlightening), but after watching one of the largest East Coast WV Gen Streams yet being generated and fed for the last four days, and hearing Al Roker talk about the snow systems “firing up” – while looking at and pointing directly at the Ice Nucleation Field – it once again presented an opportunity I was unwilling to let go. In fact, I’m sure I’ll be creating a graphic from that instance in this video… it’s just too illustrative.
I didn’t go into the details of why neither this – nor any other storm I’ve examined that has been called / classified a “Nor’easter” – actually meets the definition and qualifies as one, but for further explanation of why Nor’easters don’t actually exist anymore, see the following video.
