"Gently" recorded Elvis in March 1961, even some of his lesser known songs are so brilliant. For lyrics scroll down. Rock'n'Roll !!!

Gently
Gently your eyes met mine,
Tender, trusting, true.
Gently your hand took mine,
Thrilled me through and through.
Gently, oh so gently,
Gentle as the dawn.
Gently, oh so gently,
Our true love was born.
Gently your lips kissed mine,
As we strolled along.
Gently your heart touched mine,
Young and warm and strong.
Gently, oh so gently,
Gentle as the dawn.
Gently, oh so gently,
Our true love was born.
Gently the hour is near,
When true loves have to part.
Gently we'll meet again,
One more kiss, sweetheart.
Gently, oh so gently,
Gentle as the dawn.
Gently, oh so gently,
Our true love was born.
Our true love was born.
Our true love was born.

![Medgar Evers Lullaby [Judy Collins - acoustic cover]
This song has always been my favorite from The Judy Collins Concert, even long before I understood the English lyrics and the stirring background. In memory of NAACP activist Medgar Evers, cowardly assassinated 1963 in Mississippi for no reason except being black.
Bye, bye, my baby, Ill rock you to sleep,
Sing you a sad song, it might make you weep.
Your daddy is dead, and hell never come back,
And the reason they killed him because he was black.
Ill tell you a story that you ought to know,
It happened in our town a short while ago.
Your daddy was walking alone for some air,
And a man in the bushes was waiting right there.
That man shot your daddy and laughed while he died.
Your daddy lay dying with tears in his eyes.
He cried for the things that a man leaves undone,
And he cried for the dreams that he had for his son.
What will you do, son, when you are a man?
Will you learn to live lonely and hate all you can?
Will you try to be happy and try not to see
That all men are slaves till their brothers are free?
Bye, bye, my baby, Ill rock you to sleep,
Sing you a sad song, it might make you weep.
Your daddy is dead, and hell never come back,
And the reason they killed him because he was black. Medgar Evers Lullaby [Judy Collins - acoustic cover]](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/w1ealqh8oz8/mqdefault.jpg)

![Just Like The Rain [Richard Hawley cover, acoustic]
An acoustic version of Just Like The Rain. Very amateurish by me indeed, I know, I know... But what a great song by Richard Hawley. Just Like The Rain [Richard Hawley cover, acoustic]](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/wyUkd9Vc3nE/mqdefault.jpg)

ボビー・ソロ - Bobby Solos Troppe Volte è dal suo primo album, 46 anni fa. Questa è una nuova versione del mio. Molte molte grazie al amico Mauri (Ma965) a Milano per la trascrizione della canzone... Grazie, Ari a Reykjavík! (per suonare la tromba). Troppe Volte [Bobby Solo - cover]](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/xOfPuRLmsYI/mqdefault.jpg)
