As I was preparing to record this, I was surprised at how many scripture passages there are about gentleness. It is an overlooked and undervalued characteristic of a Christ-follower. Humility, kindness, gentleness...what if we all carried these qualities in greater depth and sincerity? What if I carried myself in that way? What if you carried yourself that way? Instead of having a strong sense of self, what if we were generous and selfless? What amazing things could we accomplish for the Kingdom together?

This is the eighth of nine videos in the series I'm putting together on the Fruits of the Spirit. As you draw closer to God, as you mature in your faith, and as you hear the call of Jesus, these nine attributes will grow in your life: Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness, and Self-Control. Galatians 5:22. If you are growing in these areas, then you're drawing near to God, my friend!
