Bringing the full orchestral beauty of Watatsumi Island to life! 🌊✨
A few years ago, I recorded a solo piano cover of "Peaceful Wishes." But for my upcoming "Best of 2026 Genshin Covers Compilation," I wanted to try a production experiment. By matching the grids in Reaper, I layered the beautiful orchestral backing elements of its alternate daytime version, "A Tranquil Town," underneath my live piano performance.
By removing the dominant Koto melody from the original audio, the piano now takes center stage alongside the lush Inazuman strings and woodwinds, creating a custom, fully-realized version of this beautiful theme.

I have been wanting to cover this one for a while now. Since 2021 in fact, because this is a heavily requested piece. But then wayback 2021 i really dont know the ins and outs of a DAW like Reaper and if I would have cpvered this, it would have been sloppy without relying on a metronome (I did a tempo mapping for this one using the original audio). Also, I had the piano arrangement sheet done by @Animuz for this. Unfortunately, even if I could read it, the piece wssnt really meant for 61 keys..like most of the Genshin OSTs i have avoided and abandoned for now, hence I made my own arrangement fit for 61-key keyboards. So I hope youll loke my version. 😊
