first fx edit since february because i'm struggling terribly at the moment, very low maintenance but i'm just glad it's done :)
i've had this song in mind for a while, even though not with pantalone specifically, then two days ago i started collecting arts of him for no particular reason and this happened
PS: i LOVE the harbingers and when their trailer dropped i lost my mind. looking forward to pantalone and dottore the most (would have included signora in the list, but 💀). i thought it would feel weird to have all these VILLAINS named after comical figures in italian, and it did, but i'm getting used to it

this is one day late because i suck and my computer and internet do as well, but better late than never :)

backstage of this video: i was undecided between two songs, then i picked this one because i know for a fact that you love it as much as i do and because the title was very meaningful for something i wanted to say! i tried to use all the pairings that you love, ofc i also watched the saezuru movie long ago but i didnt tell you cause i didnt want you to expect it in an edit from me haha i didnt have some of the raws i used in the video and had to download them, which as you know with my current internet problems took DAYS, but there were some characters that i absolutely didnt want to miss (example: Erwin and Levi) so im glad i could get the footage in the end :) i wanted to include some other bishies too, but the lyrics work best with pairings so thats the route i went for. i swear this song turned out SUPER HARD to edit (not that i didnt expect it), so i rendered 403249 times as usual because i wanted the video to be perfect as you are or at least as close to that as possible ;) this may look simple, but i was seriously obsessing over scene selection in the worst way possible cause you know, when a video is so important and you wanna convey so many feelings through it it can be tough XD its not much, but its honest work :) and most of all emotional work, because as i said before with this song choice i wanted to say: thank you so much for everything, for all the moments youve been there for me when i thought i had no one to rely on, for having such an amazing personality, but most of all thank you for the TRUST youve put in me since the moment we became friends, even when the average person would have given up. i truly love and appreciate you from the bottom of my heart ♡
and heres me failing to write a bday message that im satisfied about for the second time this year, yay

jokes aside, tbh im actually ok with most of these parts! im very happy to have been able to edit more fx in the past 3/4 months compared to what ive done in 2019 (even though honestly speaking... it wasnt hard to top that XD), i cant really complain about lack of inspiration because i do get it, it just fluctuates a lot :) so i would say my biggest obstacle when it comes to editing atm is my own perfectionism that causes me to get stuck on flaws that are probably unnoticeable to most people and to end up hating everything. but ive been working on that, and im making progress (i hope...?)
when it comes to raw editing instead im in some kind of zone moment? and mep parts just happen naturally with almost no struggle at all, full videos maybe not so much but ill take it lol in fact i currently have 10 more finished raw parts in my folder, which im not including in this collection cause otherwise it would be 5+ mins long
as you can see, almost one third of the whole collection is made out of persona 5 and that had to be expected considering i could finally play p5 royal in july/august, after waiting four months. i could say so many things about this game, but the description would become a book :) in short, the love i had for p5 in 2017 has come back ten times stronger (and it was a lot already back then). well, it had never really stopped anyway
also, THREE intros in one collection (and a fourth one that im keeping for the next)? as someone whod rather edit three mep parts than one intro, im impressed
i still have a couple fx parts to do, and then i think ill take a break from those and focus on personal projects for a bit! *looks at sour candy video started in june and never opened again*
PS: chronologically speaking, i shouldnt have included that re:vale part at 1:56 because i edited it literally two days ago and i have many older ones, but i couldnt resist the temptation to put it right after the other re:vale part which is all cute and wholesome, while this one is more like lets kill each other. i loved the contrast haha

this is actually quite old, i finished it in early october and ive always wanted to upload it because Saeran = bae and this is also one of my favorite songs (this was also quite amusing to edit because i did another video with this same song in July 2014 during my first month of editing and i looked back at it and cringed really hard), so since a lot of time has passed already and i even saw other editors around youtube uploading their parts, i guess im gonna go for it. i actually did another part for this mep, but i wanna upload this one by itself because, as i said, SAERAN = BAE and he deserves his own personal spot on my channel. credit for the colorscheme goes to Christinas bathroom :)
PS: i actually spent about one hour and a half going frame by frame trying to delete the credits from the scene from the Mystic Messenger intro that is used here, because im obsessed with details and it bothered me too much :D i often hate myself tbh

ive loved this song since it came out a few months ago, i was listening to it again on thursday and this made me want to edit it! the process went smoothly for the most part, but at some point after i was done with scene selection it was like i forgot how to do pan and crop out of a sudden?? and i kinda died lol but im glad its done in the end, especially because for some unknown reason whenever i try to edit with this pairing i end up dropping the project. i have 5 or 6 unfinished soukoku videos in my folder, no kidding
i also reused an old scene manipulation i did in 2018 for another video, since it fit the idea i was trying to portray :)
PS: hopefully ill finally upload a mep collection next week, after a year and a half since the last one :)

its been almost three months without uploading anything, and i havent really edited raw lately? and since this song came out a couple of days ago, i wanted to do something quick with it. i didnt really know what to edit though, and in these cases i always use my wildcard aka k project LOL in the end i think it kinda fits? the first half of the video is from mikotos perspective, towards totsuka, the second is from reisis perspective, towards mikoto. also, first raw video i edit on my new laptop! after effects is GREAT, but for some reason sony vegas is very laggy (worse than on my previous computer) so i struggled a bit. maybe i need to update it cause im still using 13 lol but im not one who gives up on old habits easily
i have quite a few fx parts ready, plus a couple of others that are gonna be finished very soon, so i should upload a collection within 2/3 weeks maximum
