Welcome! Genome Guardian is a Roguelite SHMUP, Top down, you are a nano machine fighting off microbes as you go deeper and deeper. There is a power up area where you spend research points to strengthen yourself between rounds, powerups you unlock, and a weapon powerup and combination system in play as well to make the game have more replayability.
