There’s no denying that birthmarks make people self conscious. However, with their designs, these tattooists helped people cover their birthmarks and to regain some much needed self-confidence, showing that imperfections - tattoos or not - are what make us beautiful.

Yet the tattooists did not only cover the birthmarks - they worked to incorporate them as a living part of the tattoo; whether it be a basketball, part of a flower, or a map of an imaginary world!
