This was set to 1000mms, 50K acceleration, 60SCV, ABS, 290C, .4TC nozzle.
I spent some time tuning torque feedforward and the loop gains for speed and torque. The difference was quite amazing before and after!
There is some deviation in the scope plot, but it is very minimal.
I can't tell if this is slow, seems like it can go faster, but this print has a 1 second min layer time and does affect how fast it goes.
There is some noise, not from motors, but the carriages moving along.
These servos are really impressive IMO.
VFA you ask?!? Yes, these do VFA!! But.. it seems to only be at low speed, 0-75mms. I think this is jitter/cogging/drive tuning. I can see the gain looks too high at low speed, with more unstable operation, graph wise. Probably need to tune a bit more, but this has come a long way with tuning already.
