Genesis Magma Racing takes on a new challenge in Brazil at the 2026 FIA World Endurance Championship 6 Hours of São Paulo. As the team’s first fly-away event outside Europe in its debut WEC season, the race at the legendary Autódromo José Carlos Pace tested the GMR-001 Hypercar and the entire team against the unique demands of Interlagos.
After showing strong pace throughout the weekend—including securing the team’s first-ever top position in an FIA WEC session during Free Practice 2—Genesis Magma Racing entered the six-hour endurance race ready for another step forward.
Follow the team behind the scenes as André Lotterer, Pipo Derani, Mathys Jaubert, Jamie Chadwick, Mathieu Jaminet, Paul-Loup Chatin, and Daniel Juncadella take on one of endurance racing’s most challenging circuits. Both GMR-001 Hypercars completed the race without technical issues, marking an important milestone for the team, while valuable lessons from penalties and race-day challenges helped shape the next chapter of Genesis Magma Racing’s 2026 WEC journey.
