Generative AI has been integrated into Adobe InDesign 2024. The feature is called “Text to Image” and is in a public beta. This artificial intelligence integration allows users to leverage the power of generative AI models to boost creativity and speed up workflows within this world-leading Desktop Publishing application. The generative AI features in Adobe InDesign are part of the Adobe Firefly family of models. Firefly is designed to be a creative co-pilot, helping users accelerate ideation, exploration, and production. It enables users to enter simple text prompts directly in Creative Cloud apps, unlocking the magic of generative AI and providing endless possibilities.
How Generative AI Works in Adobe InDesign
1) Create an image frame (or select an existing one)
2) Open the “Text to Image” panel (Menu item in Windows)
3) Type what sort of image you want in the Prompt field
4) Browse from three Photo-realistic or Art-like images
