In this Griptape experiment, we showcase a cool use case of Griptape with Mari to generate tileable textures and multi-channel maps. Watch how a text prompt creates a metal sci-fi panel texture, which is then passed through other AI models to instantly generate diffuse, normal, roughness, and bump maps.
These maps are then dragged into Mari's multi-channel paint node, allowing you to paint directly on a 3D model while keeping all the details from the different maps (base color, metalness, roughness, and normal). Finally, see how to save and reuse the Griptape workflow to generate entirely new materials—like wood panels—with just the click of a button!
