One of several videos that were lost when I wiped a hard drive while transferring files between meetings in a coffee shop. Luckily the data recovery worked.
This was Daniel's last day at Mooney before he went off to fly corporate jets. Daniel came from Decathlon but his passion is primary instruction. I had the opportunity to fly with him a bunch at Mooney, he started as an FTE riding in the back of the chase airplane and taking notes. By the time he left he was formation qualified and flying chase for test sorties. Daniel is an inspiring guy and a blast to fly with.
On this particular flight he wanted to work on slow rolls, wing overs, and hammerheads. There are lots of different kinds of pilots, Daniel is one that likes to master a maneuver, and these are great maneuvers to aply that mindset to aerobatics.
