Hello everyone and welcome back to in the studio with Ophelia….

I truly appreciate you all being here!! I am so sorry that I did not get a video uploaded before we left to go out of town….you can all tell, I am TOTALLY RUSTY here with getting back into the groove of it all….ANNNNDDDDD, as soon as we got home, the computer issues started…sigh…
Yet, here we are!!!

I met Jaime Echt – owner of The Crafters Workshop stencils at NAMTA and was just in love with all of the designs….so, I kind of went a bit BONKERS with a friend of mine – and we agreed to share our purchases…we got a LOT!!!

I then discovered that Lukas – the acrylic paint that I usually use has GOLD….there is silver and a couple of others, but I just picked up the Gold for this and off I went on a playdate of printing and playing with a variety of papers and just having fun….I do really LOVE creating papers so, when I started, it was pretty hard for me to STOP!!!

Amsterdam Acrylic Ink: Deep Gold

I used the gold ink with a plastic palette and small round brush. So I would not have issues with a clogged spray bottle.

Liquitex Acrylic Ink: Quin. Magenta and Turquoise Deep:

I add water to almost the bottom of the label and then add droppers full of ink...if its too dark, I add a bit more water....if its too light, I add a few more droppers full of ink.

Whew!!!! This was a lot - as whenever I create paper, I do have a lot of fun experimenting!!!
