Hi Everyone!
I have a fun project to share using some of my handmade stencils and gel prints.
Recently, I was asked what I do with my gel prints. Since I'm in full wedding decor mode I thought this would be a fun project to share start to finish. Lia asked me to make some magnetic hearts for guests to leave their marriage advice using little magnetic words. Since I've been having so much fun making stencils and gel prints I thought I would make each heart it's own little piece of artwork. In this video, I'll take you through my entire process. You can use recycled boxes and magnetic primer to make the heart bases. Then I'll show you how I made the gel prints for this project.
Then I have a special treat! Lia is a singer/songwriter so I thought it would be fun to use one of her original songs as background for the collage segment of the video. While her released music is copyrighted and subject to licensing I asked if she had anything in the vault we could use. She found the perfect song! Shortly after they started dating over 7 years ago, Lia and Michael (my son) collaborated on a song. They have been generous enough to give it to me to use in my videos. I wanted you to hear her beautiful voice so in this video you'll hear the full version and maybe from time to time I'll use the instrumental version as well.
