Staying at Cari Shigero's studio in Tokyo, Japan, to record free improvisational music together, I see, or sense an apparition one morning as i wake up. Cari shows me around the area where he lives, which is near a crematorium and many temples nearby. Cari had seen a 'form' too and commented on his theory that he believed the area to be filled with spirits, recently deceased and passing by on their way to the beyond.
