Over the weekend I was riding my bike along the Big Sioux River enjoying the Sioux Falls bike trails. It was a warm +95 degree day and the breeze as I peddled felt nice. At one point I stopped by the river to sit on a bench in Rotary Park. As I sat there enjoying the scenery I noticed some geese cooling off in the rapids. Then came more geese...and more geese...then some ducks. I must have happened on the agreed upon spot where geese and ducks gather to cool off on a hot South Dakota day. It was very peaceful to just sit and watch them doing their thing.
