And GEEKOM has absolutely LOADED this thing with connectivity. You get **dual 40Gbps USB4**, dual HDMI 2.0, **dual 2.5Gb Ethernet**, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, an SD 4.0 card reader and enough display connectivity to run up to FOUR 4K monitors or an 8K display.
There are two interesting configurations too. The **16GB DDR5 + 1TB SSD** version uses SO-DIMM memory that can be upgraded to a massive **96GB**, while the 24GB LPDDR5 model trades upgradeability for faster memory. Storage can also be expanded to as much as **6TB**.
Performance is where things get interesting. Independent testing has found the Core Ultra 9 delivers strong multi-core performance, while its integrated Intel Arc GPU is surprisingly capable for such a compact machine. That makes the IT13 Max interesting for productivity, coding, home-lab use, photo editing, lighter video editing and even some gaming.
There IS a catch though. Reviews have found that the cooling system can become noticeably loud under heavier workloads, and the 24GB version has soldered RAM, so I'd definitely think carefully about which configuration you choose.
So can a Mini PC this small REALLY replace a full-size desktop? And just how much performance can you squeeze out of the **GEEKOM IT13 Max**?
Let's find out!!
