Gecko foot-hairs inspired micro-fiber adhesives are integrated to the rotating feet of Waalbot climbing robot proposed by CMU, NanoRobotics Lab (Metin Sitti and Mike Murphy). Such palm-size robot is the smallest climbing robot, which can climb on any slope smooth surfaces. Such robots can be used in inspection, space, security, entertainment, etc. applications.
