The remote jack of this unit (or shall I say, two remote jacks in series) would turn off both the motor and amplifier, which is rather annoying, as then you could not set the record level if the unit was paused. So I modified it to only turn off the motor.
Also improved rewind operation with a belt cleaning and added "braces" orthodontic rubber bands.
