I’m a huge fan of tea and I’m a huge fan of travel so when I visited the middle east (Qatar) for the first time ever I thought it could be fun to try the assortment of tea on the street and hopefully meet some locals in the process. My short conclusion? The tea was amazing but extremely caffeinated - causing my face to turn red and my hands to shake. With that being said, I only drank two cups of tea but had a nice experience all the same.

The average internet user spends about 24 hours of their week online, which is an absurd amount of time. In that same amount of time I road horses in Lesko, went bobsledding in Przemyśl, cycled on the Green Velo trail, enjoyed zip lining near Rzeszow, sailed in Solina, peddled train bikes in Bieszczady, and rafted in Sanok. I’m not passing judgement for being online, I just think its worth reconsidering ones priorities given the fact that life is so short. When I’m not on my computer, I’m probably in Podkarpackie :)

I headed to Kaliningrad Russia to try some tasty Russian cuisine and was surprised at how delicious the menu was! From Pelmeni and Rassolnik, to Kotlety and Pirozhki this was a fun experience!
More about Russian food from Wikipedia: Russian cuisine is a collection of the different cooking traditions of the Russian people. The cuisine is diverse, as Russia is by area the largest country in the world.[1] Russian cuisine derives its varied character from the vast and multi-cultural expanse of Russia. Moreover, it is necessary to divide Russian traditional cuisine and Soviet cuisine, which has its own peculiarity. Its foundations were laid by the peasant food of the rural population in an often harsh climate, with a combination of plentiful fish, pork, poultry, caviar, mushrooms, berries, and honey. Crops of rye,wheat, barley and millet provided the ingredients for a plethora of breads, pancakes, pies, cereals, beer and vodka. Soups and stews full of flavor are centered on seasonal or storable produce, fish and meats. This wholly native food remained the staple for the vast majority of Russians well into the 20th century.
Russias great expansions of culture, influence, and interest during the 16th–18th centuries brought more refined foods and culinary techniques, as well as one of the most refined food countries in the world. It was during this period that smoked meats and fish, pastry cooking, salads and green vegetables, chocolate, ice cream, wines, and juice were imported from abroad. At least for the urban aristocracy and provincial gentry, this opened the doors for the creative integration of these new foodstuffs with traditional Russian dishes. The result is extremely varied in technique, seasoning, and combination.

On this episode of Kult America, we traveled from Białystok Poland to “Trójstyk” (Tri-point border Poland, Ukraine, Belarus). Along the way we visited the largest Orthodox Church in Poland, Góra Grabarka, Białowieża which is one of the most ancient forests in Europe, an ethnically Belorussian village in Poland, the place where the Polish Lithuanian commonwealth was ratified, and a scary road along the bug river. This turned out to be a tense experience for us (We nearly faced arrest in the making of this video) resulting in excessive profanity despite our otherwise cultural intentions, viewer beware.
