The big positive from a day at Eastleigh, namely 47739 passing through on final approach to the works, arriving from Doncaster Roberts Road on 0O69, then thrashing north with 47749 “City of Truro” in tow as 0O70 to Leicester. 749 failed the week before after bringing in a 701 and was being taken north for repair.
