Newly obtained body camera video is revealing new details about a Baldwin County deputy striking a man before arresting him on multiple felony charges on Monday.
A 12-second video with over 27,000 views circulating on social media showed a law enforcement officer straddling a man on the ground, repeatedly punching him in a struggle.
Baldwin County Sheriff Bill Massee confirmed with WGXA that the incident involved one of his deputies and later released a roughly 13-minute body camera video showing the altercation on Tuesday.
The altercation occurred just before 10:00 p.m. at the Texaco gas station on Vinson Highway in Milledgeville, where Deputy Joseph Harker responded to reports of a man trespassing, according to an initial incident report WGXA obtained Tuesday.
