Gaynor Lord's disappearance sparked a huge search with police divers drafted in and drones deployed after her olive-coloured coat was found in the river at Wensum Park, Norwich UK, shortly after 8pm on Friday December 8th 2023. Her work shirt, a yellow tank top, two rings, glasses and mobile phone were also discovered nearby. Her body was found in the river Wensum a week later. Gaynor's case was likened to the case of Nicola Bulley, who disappeared in January 2023 and whose body was found in the River Wyre 3 weeks later. Now, the inquest into Gaynor's death reveals a fuller picture of what happened to her in the days before the uncharacteristic behaviour that led her to the park and the sad end to her life.
