On June 5, celebrated DJ and producer Gayance joins forces with Rio de Janeiro’s Antonio Dal Bò to release "Liberation Lullaby," a soulful transmission of faith and ancestral love. Set for release on the prestigious BBE Music and Love Injection NYC, the track marks a profound moment of connection between the electronic underground and the sacred.
In a world of high-bpm chaos, "Liberation Lullaby" (Track 9) acts as the emotional anchor of the landmark compilation, Universal Love: 10 Years of Love Injection. Compiled by Barbie Bertisch and Paul Raffaele, the project celebrates a decade of the Love Injection ‘zine and radio show. The track embodies the "open-eared, open-minded" philosophy that has defined this community for ten years.
“This music is a spiritual labor; it’s the internal work of staying open when the world asks us to close," says Gayance. "Whether we are birthing new life or carrying the quiet weight of a loss, we are all nurturers of the future. Our children—those here and those we’ve lost—are reflections of our own evolution. We honour them by fighting for what is good and by having the courage to change ourselves first. This is a lullaby for the creators and the healers who refuse to let the fire of ancestral love go cold.”

Written during a season of new life, Gayance—affectionately known among her inner circle as the "belly whisperer"—composed the track as a dedication to her godchild and to all children born into these transformative times. Following a later personal experience with miscarriage and loss, the song’s meaning deepened further. Inspired by the evocative writings of the legendary Haitian musician Manno Charlemagne, the track acts as a sonic prayer, channelling his spirit of resistance and hope to pass on ancestral strength.
A Global Fusion The collaboration seamlessly merges Gayance’s Montreal-born sensibilities—rooted in the rhythmic pulse of bruk—with Dal Bò’s Latin jazz carioca instrumentation. To ensure this message of universal love translates physically, it was mastered at the Grammy-nominated The Cravery Studios by Frank Merritt. Having also worked with Frank on her previous album, Mascarade, which is a full circle to capture the clarity and deep, soulful frequencies required to resonate in a club or at home.
