Here's something I don't usually do. Bach is probably one of my favourite composers, but I don't write in this style often as counterpoint can be difficult to get right. After learning several Bach pieces lately I decided to try my hand at putting together a short baroque style composition.
Gavotte is a term for a style of French dance written in duple meter. Traditionally this type of piece is supposed to be played moderately fast, but I wrote this in a slower tempo to give it a more plaintive feel.

Recently Ive been at a loss for what to cover. While theres a few tracks from the current season that I like I havent felt motivated enough to keep up, so instead I thought Id revisit this beautiful little piece from Sword Art Online.
Also for this arrangement I used Spitfires free BBC Symphony Orchestra. The results are impressive for such a small library so I may use it more in the future.

I finally finished playing Delta Rune last night and couldnt help but arrange this beautiful little piece. The ending was Undertale all over and I couldnt help but get a little emotional, so I really enjoyed writing out this transcription.
