‘I’ve Been a Fool’ is a song I originally wrote for another band called ‘Tinlin’. It is a story about someone that realises they have been foolish in their relationship. They split up over an argument but eventually get back together and there is a happy ending. That’s it really!

I started writing some light shines over 40 years ago when I was a youngster. It’s not that it has taken 40 years to write the album, it’s just that I didn’t want anyone to hear my songs because I suffer from anxiety. I have written almost a hundred songs over the years and kept them to myself. Recently, after working with top-line session musicians on various projects, I decided that it was time to let people hear my music. I had sought help for my anxiety and felt more confident.
