The Commissioning, Ordination, and Consecration service is one of the most sacred and celebratory moments in the life of the Evangelical Covenant Church. During this worship service, we commission new ministers and global personnel and ordain pastors.
SPEAKER: Rev. Marco Ambriz | Lead Pastor, First Covenant Church of Oakland
Marco has served on the pastoral staff at FCC since 2004. The child of Mexican and Nicaraguan immigrants, Marco grew up as a pastor’s kid, worship leader, and preacher in the Latino Pentecostal church in Texas, Louisiana, and California. He also served as a Pastor at a Korean Presbyterian Church for several years before joining staff at FCC. He holds a B.A. in Pastoral Studies from Patten University and an M.Div from Fuller Theological Seminary.
