If there was a scene in UNDERTALE where Gaster is redeemed from the void/finally laid to rest, you *know* it would be epic. Like, the same level of epicness as Asriel destroying the barrier.
I've always wanted to make a version of this Doctor Who song in the style of "Sealed Door" from Chrono Trigger, and since Gaster's Theme sounds quite a lot like Sealed Door, I ran with it. If I can get the orchestrated bit to sound epic enough in 16-bits, I'll upload a standalone version of this cover.
