Oh Edward...
AHEM before I start my usual lore ramble, Ed (the kid with curly hair) is a trans guy and despite him obviously being pre-transition here, I'll still use his post-transition name and pronouns and please do the same in the comments!
So. The lore.
Edward's always been a strange kid, he didn't like playing with others, he didn't cry or emote much, he had to be taken out of public school due to not being able to keep up, etc. AKA he's autistic (and dyslexic too) and his parents didn't take that well. They'd constantly argue, with his mom mostly taking his side and his dad being a jackass who thought he'd be able to read better if he learned discipline. Yeah. Then he met the first person who seemed to just treat him like a regular ass human being, not some robot or weird creature. Wouldn't it be cruel if the world then took her away from him? And wouldn't it be funny if he said "yeah no" and tried to bring her back, crossing ethical and legal boundaries without second thought?
