Gary Numan Telekon full album drum cover medley.Also check out my "Pleasure Principle" album drum cover medley.
This is my tribute to the mighty Telekon album by Gary Numan and the late drummer Cedric Sharpley. This is one of my favorite Numan albums for sure. This tribute is done with much respect to Gary Numan, Cedric Sharpley, Paul Gardiner, Chris Payne, Russell Bell, Denis Haines and John Webb. I was only 10 years old when this amazing album came out. Though very different than "The Pleasure Principle" that came out before it, it is a very dark, moody, great, classic Numan album. This album at the time was Garys way of saying goodbye to touring and would spawn the 3 hugely successful farewell shows at Wembley Arena. Of course Gary would continue to release many albums after Telekon and continue touring. Special thanks to David Maney from Drumbeats, a Facebook page dedicated to the late Cedric Sharpley and Mark Sharpley, Cedrics Nephew. I hope I have done him proud!
