This painting is an attempt to seek attention towards the endangerment of Vultures.
Garuna (Vultures) are essential to our environment. By feeding on carcasses, they protect humans and other livestock animals from deadly bacteria and other pathogens that may develop in carcasses and cause harm to lives and the environment. They are getting extinct due to cattle medication.
This painting uses the Gond folk art style. This art form is practised by the Gond tribe, predominantly living in Central India, in Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Chattisgarh, Odisha, and Andhra Pradesh.
