Garry Blake was a British pianist, arranger and conductor. His orchestra consisted of : four trumpets, four trombones, four flutes, two guitars, bass guitar, bass and three percussion.
Recordings were produced by Norman Newell.

Written, arranged and conducted by Garry Blake and appearing on the album "More Sounds Like Swingin" released in 1966.

Not much info can be found on Garry Blake - the data above are just about everything one can detect about the man/orchestra and, this info comes from the backside of the album sleeves....
Well, while little may be known about the guy, fact is that he had (and according to comments here on YT : has!) a quite considerable 'fan base'. That comes as no suprise to us because his tunes are well arranged, bright and happy, and, in a way, different from all other orchestral sounds of the sixties.
Will Garry Blake have "a second successful career" here on YT ? We sure wouldn't mind .... quality music will always "rise to the surface" ;-) Enjoy !
