Its getting close to harvest time for our hardneck garlic. 9+ months since we planted the cloves last fall and I know our patience is being tested! For such a long crop, garlic is relatively low maintenance and trouble free and a harvest is easy to get.
However, we don't just want any harvest....we want the best harvest. In today's Quickie we look at 4 things we need to do to get our garlic prepared for pulling in a month's time. Scapes, weeding, watering, feeding, in that order. It goes fast, so watch it twice!
