In the South, USA, we typically have a spring garden and a fall garden. Very little happens in the summer. The tomatoes will stop producing and it's nearly impossible to grow lettuce or radishes for salads. So here on July 1 I have very little happening in the garden. I have been able to get rid of the killer compost I put in the beds this spring. I'm awaiting some buckwheat seeds to plant as a green manure crop to start building up my soil again.
