What a busy day we had today, we start in Gardaland Park, a theme park on the shores of Lake Garda in Italy before catching a train to Venice for dinner. from Venice we get a Nightjet sleeper train all the way to Vienna in Austria.
We start the day by having breakfast at the Gardaland Hotel before checking out of the hotel and catching the courtesy bus to Gardaland Park.
At Gardaland we go on as many rides as possible, it is very busy so we purchase two Fast Track tickets to allow us to skip the line on Jumanji and Mammut. We get some slush to drink and cool off and also have lunch there which included, chicken and fries, pasta and a chicken burger and fries.
Once we left the park and got our bags from Gardaland Hotel we catch a taxi to Peschiera Del Garda train station where we get a train to Venice.
In Venice we have dinner at a restaurant next to the canal.
We then catch the OBB Nightjet sleeper train from Venice to Vienna in Austria. We have a Deluxe sleeper which has 3 beds and an en-suite bathroom. We were really happy with the room and would recommend the Deluxe sleeper room over a standard sleeper to anyone as you have your own bathroom and shower.
