We recently visited Changu Lake and the Old Baba Mandir. Everything was going smoothly until sudden heavy snowfall and hailstones changed everything. The temperature dropped drastically, roads got blocked, and vehicles began sliding dangerously. One tourist vehicle even tumbled off the road.
Thanks to the incredible efforts of the Army officers, Sikkim Police, and local people, we made it back home safely. However, we had to leave our bike behind due to the conditions. The next day, I returned to Changu Lake and managed to bring the bike back home.
It was truly a memorable and adventurous experience!
