Roguelikes and roguelites, JRPG's and many other genres are quite common words for gamers. But have you ever stopped and looked at the names of these genres? What makes a game a certain genre and why categorize it like that? Why is this game in the same genre as this game? It can get quite confusing.

Today, I wanted to give some attention to this weird thing that gamers come across daily. And give you some opinions and examples to show that videogame genres do not make any sense.
