Jordan Sorcery | Games Workshop's Greatest Horror! | The Fury of Dracula @jordansorcery | Uploaded October 2023 | Updated October 2024, 1 hour ago.
The only Games Workshop vampire that counts - Dracula - made his GW board game debut in 1987 thanks to designer Stephen Hand’s The Fury of Dracula. Set 8 years after Bram Stoker’s classic novel the game sees the legendary vampire return to haunt Europe. Three players act as the hunters who dispatched him last time, working together to end his reign of darkness once and for all.
Meanwhile the Dracula player gets to travel Europe on a secret minimap, lay traps and ambushes for his pursuers, and make an army of new vampires to do some bidding. This was from an era when Games Workshop still produced a wide range of games: Warhammer, 40K, Chainsaw Warrior, Dark Future, Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay, and many more besides. And yet The Fury of Dracula has remained one of the most highly regarded, atmospheric, and downright dastardly games in the GW back catalogue.

Corrections:
There were in fact a number of rules tweaks in the 4th edition that affected some cards and abilities.
